| Hybrid School - Steven Gaynor & Ballet Hispanico | Due to the constraints of the New York City real estate market, two very different schools decided to build and share a single building. Steven Gaynor is a school for elementary age learning-disabled children that requires small, intimate learning environments and exercise areas. Ballet Hispanico calls for classic ballet rooms and accompanying facilities for its students to perfect their craft. A slender undulating light court separates the programs internally while the building's exterior presents a single coherent identity to the street. |
